Cobra poised,
hood flaps,
stoic eyes,
flit and dance.
Balloon afloat,
flit and dance,
string trails
behind.
Both disrupt
breath,
lungs, all
things oxygen.
Be it bite.
Or swallowed latex.
Gasp, hoarse
flutter
and thorax
numb,
paralyzed.
Perhaps
Mechanical Ventilation.
Artificial lungs
supply
artificial air
in limbs,
in mind,
everything.
